increase the gain so I am going to work on a quarterwave tuned antennae.<\/p>\n<p>I am basing the antennae on the cantenna idea so using and empty bean tin cut down to 69mm in height as the frequency is 1090MHz.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/andrewburton.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/can.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-562\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone copper from low loss satellite cable soldered to a bulkhead f-connector which is bolted to the tin.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/andrewburton.co.uk\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/antennae-1-600.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-575\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-575
